My name is Paulo, but you may call me PK. As many of my Chinese friends always say, I have lived a very colorful life. I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I learned to play football right after I learned how to walk. I moved to the United States, when I was a teenager and started a very international journey. It was there that I graduated from high school and university, obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Broadcasting Journalism.

After spending some time in Belgium, I returned to my hometown where I worked as a reporter for TV Globo, one of the largest TV networks in the world. Some inner voice, however, kept telling me this was not my call.

I moved with my wife to Canada in 2009 and a new journey began. I started teaching after-school Tennis in Vancouver and it was there that I decided to go back to University to pursue a teaching degree. Besides Broadcasting Journalism, I also have a bachelor’s degrees in Football Coaching and Advertising, a Masters in Printing Journalism and a Masters in Physical Education.

After achieving my Bachelors in Education, from the University of Windsor, I got a teaching job in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province. It was there that I felt that I had finally found the right career for me. Teaching has become my mission and my passion. I have taught many different subjects such as English, P.E., History and Drama. Due to my ability to speak English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Italian, I have taught kids in different languages and from a very diverse cultural background, including the Inuit in the Arctic. Nevertheless, I have never, in my whole life, been happier than in China; this beautiful country where I have made so many friends.

我是Paulo，你也可以叫我PK。我的很多中國朋友都認(rèn)為我的人生可謂豐富多彩。我出生、成長于巴西里約熱內(nèi)盧，剛學(xué)會走路就開始踢足球。年少時期我去了美國，勇敢開啟了一段跨國旅程。在美國，我順利完成了高中和大學(xué)的學(xué)業(yè)，獲得了廣播新聞學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位。

畢業(yè)后我在比利時工作了一段時間，之后又返回里約熱內(nèi)盧進(jìn)入了巴西最大的電視臺——環(huán)球電視臺擔(dān)任記者。但內(nèi)心深處我能感知到有個聲音一直在告訴我，這不是我最終的歸宿。

2009年，我和妻子移民至加拿大，又開始了一段全新的旅程。起初，我在溫哥華教授網(wǎng)球課程，這段教學(xué)經(jīng)歷促使我下定決心回歸校園攻讀教育學(xué)學(xué)位。如今，除了廣播新聞學(xué)學(xué)位，我還擁有足球教練證書、廣告學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位、印刷新聞碩士學(xué)位以及體育碩士學(xué)位。

在溫莎大學(xué)畢業(yè)后，我在江西贛州謀得一份教師職務(wù)。從此，我找到了畢生追求的事業(yè)。教書育人已然成為我的使命和激情。我教過很多門課，有英語、體育、歷史和戲劇等。此外，因?yàn)?/span>我會說英語、葡萄牙語、西班牙語、法語和意大利語，我給來自不同語言和不同文化背景的孩子授課，甚至包括北極地區(qū)的因紐特人。雖然我的經(jīng)歷頗為豐富，但在中國的生活更是精彩，我在這個美麗的國度結(jié)交了很多志同道合的朋友，這是我一生中最快樂的時光。
