My name is Logan, I was born and raised in a small rural community in Texas. From high school through university, I regularly competed in rhetoric and debate competitions across Texas and the Southern United States. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. I also hold certifications in teaching English as a second language, and Chinese Language Proficiency. During my last years of University and the years that followed, I tutored students in rhetoric and was an assistant Debate Coach, teaching students from multiple linguistic backgrounds. Since moving to China, I’ve gained experience teaching students of all ages, from Kindergartners to High school students.
My pedagogical method is simple: to teach what I know and learn what I don’t. My lessons are not structured as a lecture, but as a conversation between equals, with each sharing what they know and learning from the rest. This helps to create a more relaxed environment while also reinforcing learning as they use new language/concepts in an authentic conversation.

我的教學(xué)方法很簡(jiǎn)單:教我所知,授我所學(xué)。我的課不是嚴(yán)肅枯燥的講座,而是師生間平行平等的交流,每個(gè)人都可以暢所欲言,分享自己的所知所得,互相學(xué)習(xí)。這一理念有助于創(chuàng)造一個(gè)輕松的學(xué)習(xí)氛圍,也有利于學(xué)生更好地學(xué)習(xí)進(jìn)步,畢竟他們是在真實(shí)的對(duì)話場(chǎng)景中使用新語(yǔ)言、新概念。
