春風(fēng)送爽方山翠，瑞氣迎臨萬象新。3月23日，南外方山分校與江蘇省薩克斯管研究會(huì)合作協(xié)議簽署儀式在千人劇場隆重舉行。江蘇省薩克斯管研究會(huì)沈宇會(huì)長蒞臨南外方山分校，為師生們帶來了一場音樂盛宴。

On March 23, the signing ceremony between NFLSFC and Jiangsu Province Saxophone Research Association was held in the school’s lecture hall. President Shen Yu of Jiangsu Province Saxophone Research Association visited NFLSFC and gave wonderful performances.

南外方山分校朱善萍校長致辭，她指出，音樂是學(xué)生成長成才的必由之路，更是學(xué)校高質(zhì)量人才培養(yǎng)的重要一環(huán)。她強(qiáng)調(diào)，學(xué)校與江蘇省薩克斯管研究會(huì)的攜手前行，將會(huì)讓南外方山分校在未來的辦學(xué)發(fā)展中更具特色，雙方也將會(huì)結(jié)出更加豐碩的成果，實(shí)現(xiàn)共贏。

To open the event, Principal Zhu Shanping delivered a speech. She pointed out that music is important for students and school’s development. She emphasized that the cooperation with Jiangsu Province Saxophone Research Association will make NFLSFC distinctive, and helps the two institutions to achieve a win-win situation.

江蘇省薩克斯管研究會(huì)沈宇會(huì)長致辭，他指出，音樂是超越語言穿透人心的藝術(shù)。希望在今后的合作中，能讓同學(xué)們進(jìn)一步了解到薩克斯的美妙之處，感受音樂的魅力，在高雅的藝術(shù)中綻放出別樣的風(fēng)采。

Mr. Shen also delivered a speech. He pointed out that music is an art that more than any profession can ever show. He hoped students can further understand the beauty of saxophone, appreciate music, and shine brightly.

江蘇省薩克斯管研究會(huì)的成員先后為師生們演奏了薩克斯四重奏《宮崎駿電影音樂》和《鈴兒響叮當(dāng)》。南外方山分校八（6）班的鄭潤林同學(xué)深情演奏了薩克斯獨(dú)奏《天空之城》。江蘇省薩克斯管研究會(huì)沈宇會(huì)長帶來了薩克斯獨(dú)奏《春風(fēng)》，唯美的音色，律動(dòng)感十足，營造出了高雅的藝術(shù)意境。精彩的演出，為全場師生們呈上了一場音樂的饕餮盛宴，現(xiàn)場掌聲經(jīng)久不息。

Members of Jiangsu Province Saxophone Research Association played the saxophone quartet “Hayao Miyazaki Movie Music” and “Jingle Bells” for the attendees. Zheng Runlin, a students from Grade 8 Class 6, performed the saxophone solo “Laputa Castle in The Sky”. Mr. Shen performed the saxophone solo “Spring Breeze”, which has beautiful timbre and full rhythm, creating an elegant artistic mood. The event was an “audio-visual feast” for those in attendance and the performances were met by a round of applause.

江蘇省薩克斯管研究會(huì)沈宇會(huì)長還為師生們講解了薩克斯發(fā)展的歷史和演奏的相關(guān)知識，并邀請部分同學(xué)上臺進(jìn)行了現(xiàn)場體驗(yàn)和指導(dǎo)，激發(fā)出了同學(xué)們學(xué)習(xí)薩克斯的熱情和積極性。

Mr. Shen also gave a talk about saxophone’s history and how to perform it, and he invited some students to play the saxophone and gave guidance, inspiring students’ enthusiasm for learning.

江蘇省薩克斯管研究會(huì)沈宇會(huì)長和南外方山分校朱善萍校長簽署合作協(xié)議，這標(biāo)志著南外方山分校成為江蘇省薩克斯研究會(huì)樂團(tuán)培訓(xùn)基地，雙方將圍繞薩克斯特色課程、管樂團(tuán)建設(shè)等方面開展深度合作。沈宇會(huì)長還代表江蘇省薩克斯研究會(huì)向南外方山分校捐贈(zèng)了一批薩克斯。

The cooperation marks that NFLSFC has become a training base for Jiangsu Province Saxophone Research Association. Both institutions will cooperate in saxophone courses and establishing orchestra. Mr. Shen also donated a batch of saxophones to NFLSFC on behalf of Jiangsu Province Saxophone Research Association.

“興于詩，立于禮，成于樂?！币魳凡粌H可以提高學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)美、欣賞美、創(chuàng)作美的能力，還可以促進(jìn)學(xué)生道德情操、智力水平、身心素質(zhì)的發(fā)展。此次活動(dòng)為師生們搭建了一個(gè)接觸藝術(shù)、親近藝術(shù)、感受藝術(shù)的平臺，對營造校園藝術(shù)氛圍、提升師生藝術(shù)修養(yǎng)起到了積極的推動(dòng)作用。

There is a saying that goes, “It is by the Odes that the mind is aroused. It is by the Rules of Propriety that the character is established. It is from Music that the finished is received”. Studying music has many benefits; not only can it improve students’ levels of artistic appreciation and enthusiasm to create art, but also it can promote students’ moral awareness, intelligence and be beneficial to their physical and mental well-being. This event created a platform for teachers and students to get in touch with art, get close to art, and experience art, helping to improve their appreciation for art and also bring out our school’s artistic culture.
