3月16日,南京市教學(xué)研究室教研員邢文駿老師蒞臨南京外國語學(xué)校方山分校,面向全體中學(xué)英語教師作了題為《核心素養(yǎng)背景下的英語教學(xué)》的講座。
On March 16, Xing Wenjun, a Nanjing-based teacher and researcher, visited NFLSFC and gave a speech entitled “English Teaching Under the Guidance of Core Competency” to all high school English teachers.
邢老師指出,核心素養(yǎng)的提出既順應(yīng)國際教育發(fā)展的潮流,也滿足我國課程改革的訴求。關(guān)于核心素養(yǎng)的國際背景,邢老師分享了“五大支柱說”、“關(guān)鍵能力說”以及“八大素養(yǎng)說”,并強(qiáng)調(diào)要關(guān)注“人的發(fā)展”的重要性。關(guān)于課程改革,邢老師強(qiáng)調(diào)教師需要注重知識(shí)、能力、情感培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)的融合,尤其是要關(guān)注“立德樹人”的根本任務(wù)。邢老師說道,“老師不僅僅是課程的實(shí)施者,也是課程的設(shè)計(jì)者”,在設(shè)計(jì)課程語料時(shí),應(yīng)確保語料既是“持久的(durable)”,又是“普適的(universal)”。邢老師指出,教學(xué)目標(biāo)的發(fā)展從雙基到三維目標(biāo)再到核心素養(yǎng),既有融合又有超越。核心素養(yǎng)包括語言能力、文化意識(shí)、思維品質(zhì)和學(xué)習(xí)能力,要求我們培養(yǎng)全面發(fā)展的人。針對(duì)目前英語教學(xué)中易出現(xiàn)的問題,邢老師提出“Language is learned for use”,教師要培養(yǎng)學(xué)生“輸入”和“輸出”的能力,提升課堂“設(shè)問的有效性”(Effectiveness of questioning),注重使用語篇作為語言教學(xué)的語言載體,樹立學(xué)生的文化意識(shí)和價(jià)值觀念,真正實(shí)現(xiàn)語言知識(shí)和能力的運(yùn)用。
Mr. Xing pointed out that the proposal of core literacy not only conforms to the trend of international education development, but also meets the demands of our country’s curriculum reform. Mr. Xing shared the “five pillars”, “key competence theory” and “eight literacy theory” to introduce the international background of core literacy. He emphasized the importance of “human development”. Mr. Xing also emphasized that teachers should focus on the following educational goals: knowledge, abilities, and emotion, and teachers must undertake the fundamental task of “fostering character and civic virtue” in the students regarding curriculum reform. Mr. Xing said, “Teachers are not only the implementers of the curriculum, but also the designers.” When designing the curriculum corpus, teachers should ensure that the corpus is both “durable” and “universal”. Mr. Xing pointed out that teaching objects have developed from double bases to three-dimensional goals to core literacy, which are of integration and transcendence. Core literacy includes language skills, cultural awareness, thinking skills and learning abilities, and thus the teachers should enhance the all-round development of students. He said, “Language is learned for use” in response to the current problems in English teaching. He noted that teachers should cultivate students’ input and output abilities and improve the “effectiveness of questioning” in the classroom and pay attention to the use of discourse as the language carrier of language teaching to establish students’ cultural awareness and values, and truly help students to acquire language and develop their abilities.
在一個(gè)多小時(shí)的講座里,邢老師以巧妙的比喻、生動(dòng)的語言、詳實(shí)的案例讓全體與會(huì)的英語老師們受益匪淺、收獲滿滿,特別對(duì)改進(jìn)和完善英語教學(xué)的具體實(shí)踐有了更清晰的認(rèn)識(shí)和啟發(fā)。未來,南京外國語學(xué)校方山分校將繼續(xù)立足課堂,邀請(qǐng)專家、名師走進(jìn)學(xué)校進(jìn)行指導(dǎo),全體教師將以更飽滿的熱情投入到教育教學(xué)中去,促進(jìn)學(xué)校教育教學(xué)質(zhì)量不斷提升。
Mr. Xing used ingenious metaphors, vivid language and a variety of real-life examples in his speech. All the attendees found the lecture to be very enlightening and useful in improving and perfecting the practice of English teaching. NFLSFC will invite more highly accomplished teachers to give guidance and NFLSFC teachers will continue to be enthusiastic in working hard to further improve educational outcomes and teaching practices.
