10月28日，南京外國語學(xué)校方山分校在千人劇場召開黨員大會，周世東書記以《教書育人是新時代教師的重要道德使命》為題，給全體黨員上了一堂生動的黨課。副校長、統(tǒng)戰(zhàn)委員宋長杰，副校長、宣傳委員陳禮斌和全體黨員參加會議，本次活動由組織委員孫陽陽主持。

On October 28th, NFLSFC held a meeting in the lecture hall, during which Secretary Zhou Shidong gave a speech entitled "Teaching and Educating People is the Important Moral Mission of Teachers in the New Era". Song Changjie, Vice Principal and representative of the United Front Committee, Chen Libin, Vice Principal and representative of the Publicity Committee, alongside all other NFLSFC party members attended the meeting. Sun Yangyang, representative of the Organization Committee, hosted the meeting.

周世東書記從“什么是教育？”這一話題切入，結(jié)合實際、引經(jīng)據(jù)典地揭示出教書育人是教師的天職。他指出，教師要提升教書育人本領(lǐng)，需要關(guān)注兩個層面的問題：一方面，是具體方法上的“如何教？”、“如何育？”這需要老師們走向外求索的專業(yè)化發(fā)展道路，學(xué)習(xí)優(yōu)秀教師的有益經(jīng)驗或各種先進(jìn)教育理論來提升自身的教書育人能力。另一方面，是“憑何教？”、“憑何育？”這是對教師教書育人的前提性資格追問，教師們必須回歸教育本體，從根本上提升教書育人水平。

Secretary Zhou Shidong began his speech by asking:“What is education?” He drew from a wide range of academic sources and integrated theory with practice to reveal that teaching and educating people is the bounden duty of teachers. He pointed out that teachers should improve their professional skills, so they need to know how to teach and how to be qualified. As for the for the question, NFLSFC teachers should learn from more outstanding experienced teachers to improve their professional development. As for the second question which is the prerequisite qualification for teachers, NFLSFC teachers must know about the essence of education and improve high quality educational outcomes and teaching practices.

周世東書記強(qiáng)調(diào)，教書育人是一種道德實踐，既是一種以人為對象的實踐活動，同時又是一種以人的成長為行動目標(biāo)的實踐；教書育人的過程不是人對物的單向改造過程，而是教師與學(xué)生互動的過程；教書育人承載著為黨育人、為國育才的重要使命，這一使命本身就是一種最為人道與光榮的道德事業(yè)。師德是教師教書育人合法性的基本要求，更是影響學(xué)生品德成長的重要力量。錘煉師德是提高教書育人本領(lǐng)的第一要務(wù)，而錘煉師德的前提就在于增強(qiáng)教師的職業(yè)認(rèn)同，廣大教師們要明確自己作為國家公職人員的身份，自覺踐行和落實黨的教育方針；要充分認(rèn)識教育的價值屬性，自覺落實立德樹人根本任務(wù)；要看到教育的有限性，但更要努力做好分內(nèi)之事。

Secretary Zhou Shidong emphasized that educating people is a kind of moral practice. It is not only a practice of teaching people but also a practice of helping people to improve themselves. It is a process of interaction between teachers and students rather than one-way transformation; being a teacher carries the important mission of educating people for the Party and the country. This mission itself is the most humane and glorious moral cause. Teacher morality is the basic requirement of the legality of their teaching practices, and it is also an important force that affects the development of students' morality. Improving teachers' moral consciousness is the most important task to improve their ability of teaching people, and the prerequisite is to strengthen the professional identity of teachers. Teachers must clarify their identity as national public officials, and remain committed to educational policies that ensure the comprehensive development of students. It is necessary to understand the value of education, and undertake the fundamental task of "fostering character and civic virtue" in students. Teachers should see the limitations of education, but it is more important to work hard to do their duties.

周世東書記希望每個教師能不斷提升自身的道德修養(yǎng)和教書育人本領(lǐng)，在向外求索各種教育經(jīng)驗、教育方法的同時，更應(yīng)該注重回歸自身，通過錘煉自我的師德水平，真正做到在教書育人過程中身教和言教的有機(jī)統(tǒng)一。

Secretary Zhou Shidong hoped that every teacher continuously improves their moral accomplishment and teaching abilities. Teachers should also pay more attention to self-reflection and ethics improvements to truly achieve the ultimate unity of teaching through both knowledge and behavior while seeking out various educational experiences and methods in the process of education.

周世東書記最后指出，我校黨員教職工人數(shù)接近全校教職工總數(shù)的40%，是一支愛崗敬業(yè)，素質(zhì)優(yōu)良，教書育人，積極進(jìn)取的隊伍。希望全體黨員同志繼續(xù)努力，擦亮黨員示范崗的標(biāo)牌，切實發(fā)揮黨員模范帶頭作用，特別是要在錘煉師德方面做的更好。堅定社會主義辦學(xué)方向，為黨育人，為國育才。要把德育放在更加重要的位置，堅持把立德樹人融入思想道德教育、文化知識教育、社會實踐教育各個環(huán)節(jié)，把培育和踐行社會主義核心價值觀融入教書育人全過程，使學(xué)生“扣好人生第一?？圩印?。

Finally, Secretary Zhou Shidong pointed out that accounting for about 40% of the whole school staff, the Party members are dedicated to their jobs with excellent educational qualities and motivation. It is hoped that all the Party members continue to work hard, be positive role models of the Party and improve their moral consciousness to educate students for the Party and for our country. Furthermore, moral education must be paid more attention. Teachers should foster character and civic virtue with moral, cultural and social practice education. Teachers should develop core values of socialism to help the students "fasten their first button".

不忘初心教書育人，牢記使命立德樹人。本次大會主題鮮明、內(nèi)容充實，進(jìn)一步深化了廣大教師黨員們對于教書育人和立德樹人的理解認(rèn)識。黨員教師們紛紛表示將始終銘記自己作為一名黨員的職責(zé)與使命，發(fā)揚(yáng)黨員的先鋒模范作用，始終銘記教書育人是新時代教師的重要道德使命，為學(xué)校高品質(zhì)發(fā)展做出新的更大貢獻(xiàn)。

NFLSFC teachers will remain true to the original intentions to improve as educators and keep their mission firmly in mind to foster character and civic virtue. The meeting's content was clear-cut to those participating, helping Party members further understand more about their responsibilities as a teacher. Staff Party members will be responsible, be positive role models of the Party and help our school achieve excellence in education and teaching quality.
