科技是創(chuàng)新的課堂，更是夢(mèng)想的舞臺(tái)。11月2日，南京外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)校方山分校的全體師生歡聚一堂，迎來(lái)了學(xué)校第三屆科技節(jié)隆重開幕，共同開啟這場(chǎng)科技盛會(huì)。

Technology helps students to build their creativity and realize their dreams. On November 2nd, NFLSFC teachers and students gathered to hold the opening ceremony for the third Science and Technology Festival.

宋長(zhǎng)杰副校長(zhǎng)為本次科技節(jié)開幕致辭，他指出，從人類的發(fā)展歷史進(jìn)程來(lái)看，人類造就了科技的發(fā)展，科技也促成了人類的進(jìn)步。特別是在面對(duì)此次全球新冠肺炎疫情持續(xù)反復(fù)的嚴(yán)峻形勢(shì)下，中國(guó)在世界面前展示出了強(qiáng)大的科技實(shí)力。宋長(zhǎng)杰副校長(zhǎng)強(qiáng)調(diào)，科技并不是束之高閣，僅供欣賞的炫酷玩物，而是正在不斷改變我們生活，開啟現(xiàn)代智慧生活的鑰匙；是推動(dòng)一個(gè)國(guó)家、一個(gè)民族向前發(fā)展的重要力量；更是實(shí)現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興的關(guān)鍵因素！少年智則國(guó)智，少年富則國(guó)富。大國(guó)崛起不在他人，全在我中華少年，與我們每一位同學(xué)息息相關(guān)。最后，宋長(zhǎng)杰副校長(zhǎng)希望同學(xué)們承載祖國(guó)崛起的希望，擎起振興中華的接力棒，在科技節(jié)的舞臺(tái)上盡情地展現(xiàn)自己的風(fēng)采！

Vice Principal Song Changjie delivered an opening speech for the Science and Technology Festival. He pointed out that human beings have contributed to the development of science and technology and vice versa. China has showed great scientific and technological achievements especially in fighting against COVID-19. He emphasized that science and technology is not a plaything to be put on the shelf and only for appreciation, but is constantly changing our lives and the key to modern intelligent life; it is an important force to promote the development of a country and a nation; it is also the key to China's rejuvenation. The wiser the youth are, the wiser the nation will be; the wealthier the youth are, the wealthier the nation will be. The youth could do more for China's development. He hopes that the students can contribute themselves to China's rejuvenation, and show their talents during the Science and Technology Festival.

三（3）班的朱璨同學(xué)為小學(xué)學(xué)段的師生們帶來(lái)了《科技興國(guó)，爭(zhēng)做新時(shí)代好少年》的演講。

Zhu Can from Grade 3 Class 3 gave a speech on "Science and Technology Rejuvenate the Country, Strive to Be a Good Teenager in the New Era" to the attendees.

三（3）班的于子文、房胤澤和楊靖琪同學(xué)還給小學(xué)學(xué)段的師生們表演了打快板《爭(zhēng)做新時(shí)代好隊(duì)員》，號(hào)召同學(xué)們要勤奮學(xué)習(xí)，追求上進(jìn)，團(tuán)結(jié)友愛，品德兼優(yōu)，爭(zhēng)做中國(guó)靈魂世界胸懷的現(xiàn)代英才。

Yu Ziwen, Fang Yinze and Yang Jingqi from Grade 3 Class 3 performed allegro "Striving to Be A Good Young Pioneer in the New Era", calling on the students to study hard, set sights high, work together as a team and be excellent to become modern talents with Chinese soul and global vision.

來(lái)自八年級(jí)（5）班的肖雁文、吳子胥、張雁杰和魯子昕同學(xué)與全體中學(xué)學(xué)段的師生們分享了有關(guān)科學(xué)垃圾分類的知識(shí)，號(hào)召大家養(yǎng)成垃圾分類的好習(xí)慣。

Xiao Yanwen, Wu Zixu, Zhang Yanjie and Lu Zixin from Grade 8 Class 5 shared their knowledge about scientific waste classification with all the teachers and students, and called on everyone to develop a good habit of waste classification.

科技與生活碰撞在一起會(huì)產(chǎn)生怎樣的火花？開幕式上，科技高中高一（2）班孔歆研、科技高中高一（4）班夏添和國(guó)際高中高二中美班朱星瀚同學(xué)展示了他們?cè)O(shè)計(jì)的智能垃圾分類系統(tǒng)、無(wú)人機(jī)穿越障礙等創(chuàng)意科技作品，贏得了全場(chǎng)的熱烈掌聲。

What kind of sparks will be produced when technology and life collide? At the opening ceremony, Kong Xinyan from Grade 10 Class 2, Xia Tian from Grade 10 Class 4, and Zhu Xinghan from International High School Grade 11 showed their creative ideas such as intelligent waste sorting system and drone crossing obstacles, which received much applause from the audience.

科技節(jié)是創(chuàng)新的課堂和舞臺(tái)，其實(shí)科技就在我們身邊，它不一定是偉大的發(fā)明創(chuàng)造，也不一定是耀眼的科學(xué)成果。它萌芽于每一個(gè)小小的發(fā)現(xiàn)，成長(zhǎng)在無(wú)數(shù)次的探索中。希望同學(xué)們揚(yáng)起科學(xué)的風(fēng)帆，展開創(chuàng)新的翅膀，共享科技的魅力，以飽滿的熱情參與到此次科技節(jié)的活動(dòng)中，讓科技之花在方山校園盡情綻放。

The Science and Technology Festival helps students display their ability to be creative. In fact, science and technology are by no means out of reach. It does not necessarily have to be a great invention or a dazzling scientific achievement. It sprouted from every small discovery and developed in countless explorations. It's hoped that the festival will inspire our students to engage with science and technology so that science and technology can flourish at NFLSFC.
